This one's just a quick post, I don't have much free time this weekend. Always something to do, somewhere to go. The busy life of a nonfamous copier repairman/writer.
Anyway, here are a couple horror markets:
- Oddlands Magazine: A monthly speculative fiction webzine, they pay 1 cent per word for fiction and $10 for art or poetry. Duotrope reports them as having an average response time of 44 days.
- The Monsters Next Door: A bi-monthly webzine looking for fiction revolving around something or someone "monstrous." The editors accept simultaneous submissions and reprints, but this is a non-paying market.
Also, if anyone knows where to get a copy of Johnny Baranski's Pencil Flowers: Jail Haiku, I would very much appreciate it. I've been trying to find it for months and can't find a copy anywhere.
