June 1st

June 1st is a big day this year for deadlines. The following magazines all close to submissions on June 1st:

- Dark Discoveries
- Goblin Fruit
- Basement Stories


Also on June 1st, the 15th ChiZine Short Story Contest begins taking submissions. The top three stories will be published in ChiZine and paid 7¢/word. No simultaneous submissions, reprints, or stories over 4000 words. The contest deadline is June 30th, and there is no entry fee.
